The government has expanded digital channels for university admission campaigns. As TASS found out, now information support for applicants and receiving messages from prospective students will be conducted not only through the call center and electronic form, but also through the Max messenger. Information about application review and enrollment will also be sent there.
The technical architecture of admission is changing more fundamentally. Each applicant in the federal admission information system is now assigned a unique code. Universities themselves are obliged to enter key information – from state-funded places and Olympiads to admission deadlines and dormitory availability – by February 15 of the preceding year. This point will come into force on June 20, 2027.
For international applicants, mandatory registration in ESIA is introduced through the "Gosuslugi" mobile application or through the information systems of the universities themselves. The admission campaign started today, June 20, and the "Online University Admission" superservice is already available, allowing applicants to submit documents without a personal visit, track their position in competitive lists, and find out about enrollment.
