For bank reinforcement on one of the sections of the capital's transport complex development, Severstal supplied more than 900 tons of its own production pipe piles. As reported by the company's press service, the metal products will be used in complex hydrogeological conditions of the Moscow River's water area.
Pipe piles combine high bearing capacity, rigidity, and reliable waterproofing, which is critically important when alternating aquifers and low-permeability clays in urban development.
Severstal also supplies other items to facilities: Grani and Grani Pro sheet pile solutions, piles, and provides a full cycle – from pre-project calculations to installation supervision.
By 2030, 7 routes of regular river electric transport with 67 berths and a passenger traffic of 7.5 million trips per year should be operational in Moscow. Over the past 15 years, more than 110 km of embankments have been put in order.
