Belarusian engineers from OAO "Gomselmash" are developing the GS600 grain harvester with improved characteristics. It will replace the popular GS12A1 model. The agricultural machine is being prepared for testing, the manufacturer's press service reported.
Experienced machine operators highly value the GS12A1 combine for its productivity, versatility, gentle threshing, and simplicity. "This combine is simply out of this world," they say. In total, Gomselmash has produced more than 25,000 GS12A1 units.
Sergey Kuzmenkov, the chief designer of the plant, stated that specialists are preparing a new model.
The GS600 machine will remain in its classic design, with a straw walker, with two drums, but we will make a number of changes to the technological path that consumers have asked us for. Plus, the machine will definitely acquire a new look.
Currently, work is underway in the experimental workshop. According to him, engineers are "teaching" the GS600 to "walk, drive." The new combine will be presented to the public within 2 years, Kuzmenkov concluded.
