Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) announced its participation in the international exhibition "National Security" in Minsk on June 17. However, its flagship aircraft LMS-901 "Baikal" will not be presented there.
Instead, UZGA is bringing models of the UTS-800 training aircraft, the Forpost-RE reconnaissance drone, and the LMS-192 Osvey multi-purpose aircraft.
All three developments will be presented as models using interactive materials.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated that "Baikal" should be ready for serial production no later than the end of 2026.
An important direction for the LMS-901 will be the Far North, where Soviet An-2s still fly. However, aircraft designer Yuri Petrov claimed that "Baikal" is not suitable for the region.
