The domestic military-industrial complex can build 5 Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" hypersonic missiles monthly. This was reported by the "Tekhnosfera Rossii" publication, citing foreign sources.
The annual production volume of such missiles is 60 units. The "Kinzhal", which even modern air defense systems cannot intercept, is launched from a special modification of the supersonic MiG-31K. By the way, their number in the Russian Aerospace Forces was estimated at 25 aircraft.
We emphasize that there is no official information on the production volume of "Kinzhal" missiles. There are not even confirmed characteristics of the Kh-47M2. It is known from open sources that it is based on the 9M723 aeroballistic missile of the "Iskander-M".
The compact projectile can be launched at any initial speed and at any altitude of the carrier and carries several types of warheads.
