A new reconnaissance version with an optoelectronic complex on a lifting platform has been developed for the "Courier" ground robotic complex. The modernization was carried out as part of the further expansion of the capabilities of the multifunctional robotic system.
The main feature of the new variant is a retractable platform with optoelectronic equipment designed for observing the terrain and searching for targets. By raising the equipment, the complex is able to conduct reconnaissance from cover, reducing the risk of detection.
Such a modification of the ground complex may prove most useful in rear areas or in conditions where the use of aerial drones is limited.
NRTK "Courier" continues to develop as a universal robotic platform. Previously, the complex had already received an electromagnetic installation, which began to be used for remote demining.
Another direction of modernization was the integration of a drilling rig. It allows remote installation of supports and mounting of protective nets without direct involvement of military personnel in a dangerous zone.
The "Courier" complex is gradually turning into a multi-purpose platform, on the basis of which various engineering, protective, and reconnaissance solutions are being developed.
