The Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant (KNAAZ) named after Yu. A. Gagarin in the Khabarovsk Krai has begun construction and installation work in the aircraft systems testing facility. This was announced by the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation.
UAC CEO Vadim Badeha noted that KNAAZ has fully justified the hopes placed on it; the enterprise maintains a high pace of equipment production.
Today, the production of modern aircraft is established, combat aircraft are constantly being modernized and refined. Orders for combat aviation in Komsomolsk-on-Amur will only grow.
KNAAZ is a key manufacturer of 5th generation Su-57 and 4th generation Su-35S fighters. The plant has already been loaded with orders until 2030.
The enterprise also regularly modernizes its production facilities. For example, in November 2025, they introduced the latest anodizing bath cooling system using winter cold.
