New Gas Turbine Center Appears in Russia

ODK to Expand Production in Rybinsk

A large-scale reconstruction of the ODK-Gas Turbines plant is being launched in Rybinsk – an enterprise that produces power units for energy and main gas pipelines. Amid growing demand for Russian turbines, the plant is awaiting technological re-equipment.

The project provides for the modernization of production facilities and the expansion of equipment production for the fuel and energy complex.

This refers to gas turbine units that provide electricity to industrial facilities, support the operation of large gas pipelines, and are used in the country's energy infrastructure.

Given the growing demand for ODK equipment for Russia's fuel and energy complex, the signing of the agreement opens up additional opportunities for the enterprise in Rybinsk.
Andrey Vorobyov, General Director of ODK-Engineering

According to him, the project will create about 300 jobs and increase the technological level of the enterprise. Regional authorities will also help the plant enter state co-financing programs.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, announced that by the end of 2026, Russia intends to build seven gas turbines, which is similar to last year's pace. By 2029, the production rate will accelerate to 12 power units.
