"Kaspersky Lab" Creates an Unhackable Smartphone

A device with Russian hardware and domestic OS is available for pilot testing

Eugene Kaspersky, CEO of "Kaspersky Lab", announced the development of a secure phone at SPIEF-2026, which, according to him, is impossible to hack. The speaker showed the participants a working prototype.

Kaspersky explained that the device is assembled with Russian hardware, and its operating system was entirely made in Russia. The device is not yet in mass production – only a few dozen units have been manufactured. The developers invite interested parties to join the pilot testing.

Detailed technical specifications and potential market release dates have not yet been disclosed. The new project marks an expansion of the company's competencies: previously, it was primarily known for software products, and now it is entering the hardware security market. The terms of participation in the pilot program have not been announced; they will likely be discussed individually.
