The stationary electronic warfare system "Medusa 2M", developed by the "Sinergiya" design bureau, was first shown at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, reports a correspondent of "Perviy Tekhnicheskiy".
"Medusa 2M" operates in frequencies from 300 to 5900 MHz. Depending on the frequency, the amplifier power ranges from 50 to 100 W. The system suppresses FPV drones at a range of up to 600 meters, and MAVIC-type drones up to 1000 meters. Power consumption is up to 3100 W, power supply voltage is 220 V, 50 Hz.
The system is equipped with its own signal-like noise generator. The casing has an IP65 protection rating, making the device resistant to dust and moisture. It provides for the possibility of remote antenna placement and optional pairing with a detector for automatic activation.
The stationary version of "Medusa 2M" is intended for deployment at protected facilities – industrial enterprises, energy hubs, transport hubs, and administrative buildings. Unlike mobile counterparts, the system provides round-the-clock protection without the need for equipment deployment and retraction.
