The fully domestically produced regional aircraft Il-114-300 with TV7-117ST-01 engines arrived in St. Petersburg in anticipation of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. SPIEF guests arriving at Pulkovo will be able to see the aircraft at the airport's parking area. According to the UEC press service, the engine was developed and is manufactured by the corporation's St. Petersburg enterprise and is already included in the current production organization approval certificate.
The TV7-117ST-01 operates in conjunction with the low-noise AV112-114 propeller with a thrust of four tons via the BARK-65SM digital control unit, which coordinates the power plant's characteristics in real time. The maximum takeoff power reaches 3100 horsepower.
The engine is certified for operation in temperatures ranging from −60°C to +60°C and at altitudes up to 7600 meters – the type certificate was obtained in December 2022, and the propeller certificate in November 2025. In March 2026, eight flights were conducted in natural icing conditions in the Arkhangelsk region, the anti-icing system operated normally, and in 2025, the last restrictions were lifted.
Experimental engines as part of the aircraft have completed more than 400 flights, including flights to Petrozavodsk, Novosibirsk, and Gorno-Altaysk. Thus, UEC is fully ready for serial deliveries, and the Il-114-300 with a Russian turboprop engine is entering the final stretch before the start of commercial operation.
www1.ru reported that OAK aims to produce 12 Il-114-300s per year, but there are already more contenders for the aircraft.
