Altaileshmash Plant Presented a "Four-in-One" Tracked All-Terrain Vehicle

The machine, weighing about 22 tons, was equipped with a 180 hp YaMZ-238 diesel engine.

The Altaileshmash plant showcased a modernized multifunctional all-terrain vehicle designed for operation in tundra and forest-tundra. The new special equipment is built on a "four-in-one" scheme and is based on a six-roller tracked chassis, providing high cross-country capability with low specific ground pressure — about 0.4 kg per cm².

The machine's layout includes a bulldozer blade at the front and a cargo platform at the rear. A KMU-150 crane-manipulator unit, manufactured by the Galich Autocrane Plant, is installed above the cab. Its lifting capacity reaches 7 tons, allowing the machine to be used for installing power line supports and performing heavy loading and unloading operations.

The power unit is a YaMZ-238 diesel engine with a power of 180 horsepower. The basic version is equipped with a mechanical transmission, while the manufacturer allows the installation of a hydrostatic transmission for specific customer tasks.

Additional capabilities of the equipment are expanded due to attachments: the machine can operate as a winch, and also be used for drilling soil when preparing pits for power line supports.

The total weight of the special machine is about 22 tons, while the design is intended for operation in difficult climatic and road conditions without loss of cross-country capability.
