31 billion rubles to be allocated for domestic ship equipment

State funding will accelerate the replacement of imported components and the launch of new engineering solutions

31 billion rubles will be allocated for the development and serial production of domestic ship equipment. The distribution of funds and the actual progress in replacing imported components were reported by the organizers of the "Marine Congress Far East 2026" and representatives of key shipbuilding enterprises.

According to Senator Lyudmila Talabaeva, almost 28 billion rubles have already been utilized, and the remaining 3 billion will be received by 2027.

The state has abandoned the practice of simply copying foreign analogues and demands the implementation of its own engineering solutions. In this regard, the workload on design bureaus is increasing, as they must incorporate advanced control systems into new projects and enhance the autonomy of offshore platforms.

The results show that state investments in the design base and production lines are already yielding measurable results. The industry is moving from replacing individual units to creating fully localized high-tech complexes.

Earlier, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to allocate funds for the construction of the fifth and sixth Project 22220 "Arktika" type nuclear icebreakers, as well as a multifunctional vessel for nuclear maintenance. Funding will primarily come from extra-budgetary sources.
