Uralvagonzavod is developing a new generation tank with elements of robotization and artificial intelligence. This was announced by the CEO of the concern, Alexander Potapov.
According to him, the prospective vehicle will receive the full set of modern systems used on the T-90M. However, the project will take into account the experience of modern combat operations and new threats on the battlefield.
Engineering thought is moving towards the creation of robotic vehicles and the use of AI.
The head of Uralvagonzavod added that the combat experience of the Russian military is already directly influencing the development of future armored vehicles.
Rostec previously noted that the T-90M will be the last tank of the current generation. "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" explained in a large article which combat vehicle will replace the "Proryv" in the coming decades.
