Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) has developed and introduced RTP-70S water thermoregulators for cooling systems of marine and stationary diesel engines. The equipment is designed for automatic maintenance of a stable water temperature in power plants.
RTP-70S regulate the flow of coolant between the water cooler and the bypass line, maintaining a set temperature regime without constant operator intervention. The equipment is produced in several modifications according to the requirements of TU 25-02-022048-77.
KMZ noted that the thermoregulators are designed for operation in various climatic conditions and are suitable for use both in the navy and at stationary power facilities. The declared resource of the equipment is at least 4000 hours, and the service life reaches ten years, provided operating conditions are met.
The development of RTP-70S became part of a program to provide Russian diesel units with specialized fittings and automatic temperature control systems.
