Russia and India are negotiating the supply of an additional batch of S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile systems. This was reported by the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
The agency clarified that the Indian side itself expressed interest in purchasing an additional batch.
Russia is ready for this. Relevant negotiations are underway.
Foreign media reported that India wants to modernize the S-400 Triumf systems purchased from Russia, enhancing them with new missiles specifically for destroying small drones.
Previously, the FSVTS noted that the transfer of already contracted Triumf systems to India is proceeding in strict accordance with the schedule.
