Rybinsk enterprise ODK-Gazovye Turbiny expanded its welding production for assembling gas turbine units. This was announced by the managing director of the plant, Eduard Divenko.
According to him, more than 80 welders are currently working at the site, 62 of whom have passed certification from the National Welding Control Agency.
The reliability of gas turbine units is directly related to the quality of assembly of blocks and compartments. Over three years, we have acquired dozens of modern machines for argon arc and semi-automatic welding.
The enterprise clarified that the equipment upgrade is associated with the growing requirements for the quality of power plants and an increase in production volumes.
Previously, the press service of ODK-Gazovye Turbiny for the first time showed the production cycle of painting gas turbine units. This technology directly affects the service life of equipment in different climates.
