Alisa AI in "Yandex Go" has gained a new skill: now it can help users choose products directly in the chat – from clothes and books to home appliances. The neural network can search for items based on a specific request, compare several options, and suggest which product is best suited for the situation. For example, you can ask it to find a book for a child under a thousand rubles, find an item in a specific style, or recommend an air conditioner for a bedroom.
The new feature works through the Yandex Market AI agent. The user types or speaks a request, after which the agent clarifies details, analyzes the marketplace assortment, and offers suitable options. There's no need to switch between tabs: the chat with Alisa AI opens from the Yandex Go home page via the "Find with Alisa AI" button.
Yandex expects the neural network to become a universal assistant for everyday urban tasks. Already, in one chat, you can not only choose a product but also ask for help with ordering a taxi, groceries, delivery, or selecting a restaurant. For example, a user can organize an evening almost without switching: choose a restaurant, order flowers, select headphones, and call a taxi to the location.
For now, the new features are available to residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg from the waiting list. According to the company, more than a million people have already applied for access. In the future, Alisa AI should become available to all Yandex Go users.
The Yandex Market AI agent has been developing separately since spring 2025, when the marketplace launched an AI chat for buyers. After the update, the agent learned to understand text and voice requests, recognize images, analyze characteristics and reviews, compare products, and provide ready-made recommendations. Since its launch, millions of users have visited the AI agent chat.
