The design bureau "Aviatekhnolab" has developed a new drone-repeater "Odyssey", which allows for a sharp increase in the range of strike drones. This was reported by the "Kulibin-club".
A special forces brigade of the Airborne Forces participated in the work on the repeater. With the help of "Odyssey", the strike drone flew up to 70 km without losing communication.
We entered our first contract, and along with it, we conducted approbation activities and a test delivery to the troops.
The technical characteristics of the novelty are not yet known. It is obvious that "Odyssey" transmits the signal "from above", solving the problem of losing communication due to trees, hills, and buildings.
Russian specialists also created a new radar station "Bekas" for drone surveillance. The complex is capable of operating continuously without an operator for more than 24 hours.
