Rostec presented a new Bekas radar complex at KazanForum, designed to detect small drones and low-flying targets.
The system automatically searches for objects, determines their coordinates, movement parameters, and tracks targets without operator intervention. The complex is capable of operating continuously for more than 24 hours.
The main feature of Bekas is its mobility. The radar complex can be quickly installed on various transport platforms, which allows the system to be promptly redeployed to cover important objects and convoys of equipment.
The complex was created taking into account the growing threat from small drones, including UAVs that are difficult to detect with classic air defense systems.
