Radar manufacturer for the front, "Mikran," lost 1.8 billion in revenue but increased management bonuses

The financial performance of the Tomsk NPF sharply deteriorated

The financial performance of the Tomsk NPF "Mikran" sharply deteriorated by the end of 2025. The company's profit fell by almost three times – from 1.3 billion rubles to 473.4 million, CNews reports, citing the annual financial statements. Revenue decreased by 1.8 billion, amounting to 7.7 billion compared to 9.5 billion a year earlier. At the same time, payments to top management increased. Mikran's key management personnel received 136.4 million rubles by the end of the year, compared to 102.8 million a year earlier. Of this amount, 116.2 million was salary, and bonuses more than doubled – from 4.3 million to 10.6 million.

Two areas suffered the most significant decline. Sales of telecommunications equipment fell from 3.8 billion to 2.1 billion. The situation with mobile communication complexes is even more dramatic: instead of 1.1 billion in 2024, the company received only 148.7 million. At the same time, radar and microwave modules remained at the same level – 2.7 billion, and the robotics direction brought a symbolic profit of 2.3 million rubles for the first time.

Mikran attributed the decline to the completion of major contracts. As the company notes, this is a predictable decrease in the period between project cycles: several large contracts were completed in 2024. In 2026, the company intends to increase its market share in measuring equipment and radio relay communication lines.

Despite the decline in revenue and profit, the company continues to invest in development. The volume of unfinished R&D at the end of 2025 amounted to 937.5 million rubles. The main work is carried out in the areas of radar, microwave modules, and telecom equipment through subsidies. The report emphasizes: a lack of investment in development can reduce product competitiveness.

The company's financial position remains strained. Short-term liabilities exceed liquid assets, so the organization is exposed to the risk of a shortage of funds. The total amount of loans and borrowings reached 4.8 billion rubles, and the open credit line – 10.4 billion. Property worth 7.5 billion is pledged for loans.

"Mikran" is engaged in the development and production of telecom equipment, control and measuring equipment, microwave electronics, and mobile communication complexes. For the needs of the front, the company produces a wide range of in-demand products. First of all, these are mobile communication complexes "MIK-MKS" on KamAZ chassis, which allow for quick deployment of secure field communication networks. The enterprise also produces digital radio relay stations of the "MIK-RL" and "Y-PACKET" series for organizing stable communication channels in conditions of interference. A critically important area is the development of perimeter security radar systems and anti-UAV systems: these are MRS, ARKAN, HUNTER series radars, as well as portable radars for detecting drones at a distance of up to 1.2 kilometers.
