The national messenger Max can be used to organize distance learning in schools and technical colleges. This is stated in a document from the Russian government.
The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the Rules for the application of e-learning and distance learning technologies by educational organizations. Max is mentioned as a "multifunctional information exchange service".
This refers to the use of the messenger for the implementation of:
- basic general education programs
- secondary vocational education programs
Currently, schools use programs such as Sferum and regional electronic diaries for distance learning. In Russian universities, in addition to the "Modern Digital Educational Environment", Max can also be used.
