TFK "Feniks" presented a new all-wheel drive dump truck with an 8×8 wheel arrangement. The vehicle is built on the KAMAZ-65958 chassis and features a 20 cubic meter body. The model's payload capacity reaches 23 tons with a gross vehicle weight of 44 tons.
The new product is designed for operation in harsh conditions – in quarries, construction sites, and the oil and gas sector. The dump truck received a long 9.4-meter frame and all-wheel drive with single-tire wheels, which should improve off-road capability.
The machine is based on the new heavy K5 generation chassis. The KAMAZ-65958 is equipped with an in-line R6 engine with up to 560 hp and an automatic tire inflation system. The cabin features an autonomous heater, air conditioning, and an on-board information system.
As KAMAZ previously reported, the 65958 model was created not only as a base for dump truck installations. The chassis is also intended for mounting other heavy special equipment, including equipment for operation in oil and gas fields.
The new TFK "Feniks" dump truck has become another modification based on the K5 family, which KAMAZ is actively expanding in the heavy off-road equipment segment. Earlier, the manufacturer stated interest in such machines from customers not only from Russia but also from Middle Eastern countries.
