"Yandex Practicum" introduced a new platform, "Lumi," which helps develop communication skills and other soft skills that impact one's career. The service is built around short daily practices and an AI assistant capable of simulating real work situations.
The application offers 18 training paths across six areas – from communication and attention management to salary negotiations, preparing for career changes, and combating professional insecurity. Each course includes videos from experts and a set of practical exercises. At launch, "Lumi" included programs from 25 specialists, including career consultants, neurobiologists, and communication experts.
The main feature of the platform is the AI trainer. The neural network can simulate a dialogue with a "toxic" manager, arrange a project defense before a client, or model a controversial work situation. After the conversation, the AI analyzes the user's responses, provides feedback, and shows which skills need improvement.
"Yandex Practicum" expects that this format will allow users to train communication and confidence without the risk of making mistakes in a real work situation. Moreover, the sessions take only 5–10 minutes a day.
After a one-week trial period, a subscription to the platform will cost 399 rubles per month.
