Ground robots used by Russian Armed Forces soldiers operate on special frequencies

NRTC operator: Controlling an automated platform does not require special training

Ground robotic systems (NRTC) used by Russian Armed Forces personnel are practically immune to the effects of enemy electronic warfare (EW). This was stated by an NRTC operator of a motorized rifle regiment of the Southern Group of Forces with the call sign Korney.

The NRTC is designed in such a way that it uses special frequencies and is not susceptible to EW, both from the enemy's side and from our side.

According to him, controlling the automated platform is very simple and does not require special training. The remote control is equipped with two sticks (like a gaming joystick), and all actions are pre-programmed.

Western analysts claim that Russian servicemen use more than 30 models of NRTC. These include the well-known "Courier", "Varan" and "Impulse-M". Active deliveries of ground robots to the troops began after 2022. Most often, these are systems on tracked chassis with high cross-country capability.
