"Dry": The Outcome of F-16 vs. Su-30 Combat in Exercises Revealed

Sergey Bogdan announced a series of victories for Russian fighters during maneuvers

Test pilot Sergey Bogdan spoke about the results of training aerial battles involving "Su" family aircraft and Western fighters, including the F-16 Fighting Falcon and Dassault Mirage. Such maneuvers regularly take place as part of international exercises, including those with the participation of Asian countries.

Bogdan emphasized that with equal initial data, the capabilities of the aircraft itself play a key role. He noted that Russian fighters are capable of conducting combat while maintaining high efficiency throughout the entire sortie.

As a rule, it all happens really dry, and they win dry. The worst result would be that out of ten aerial battles, "Sukhoi" would lose, say, one battle.

Bogdan clarified that such results are recorded on "4+" generation aircraft, including the Su-30 and Su-35. The transition to more modern machines only enhances this advantage, the specialist noted.

Pilots [foreign], who flew, for example, on Su-30s, are simply amazed at what power and avionics it has. They have the most enthusiastic reviews. I want to say that the Russian taxpayer should understand that the funds are not spent in vain. I can confidently say that Russian operational-tactical aviation is the best in the world.
