A new production facility has been opened in Nizhny Novgorod. We are talking about high-precision tooling – molds and equipment, without which serial production of many components for cars is impossible. The new full-cycle complex was launched by "MS Automotive" company, part of the MGC Group holding.
The company's products are already used by Russian car manufacturers. The total investment in the project amounted to about 120 million rubles. Of these, 50 million rubles were provided by the Industrial Development Fund under the "Leasing Projects" program.
With these funds, the enterprise purchased six modern metalworking machines for the tool shop. Among them are a five-axis milling center, vertical milling, electrical discharge, and radial drilling machines.
The new equipment allowed to build a closed cycle – from design to maintenance of tooling directly for the needs of car factories.
The company will be able not only to produce molds and technological tooling, but also to promptly repair them, restore geometry, and implement engineering changes without stopping customers' assembly lines.
The company's tooling is used in the production of plastic interior and exterior elements of cars, as well as car seats.
Alexander Brits, General Director of JSC "MS Automotive", stated that the enterprise now meets the needs of partners in high-precision tooling and ensures its full life cycle. According to the company, production is 100% localized: products are made from Russian materials and raw materials.
