Artificial intelligence in employee recruitment is no longer just an assistant. Cases have already appeared on the Russian market where the decision to hire a person is made by the neural network itself – without the participation of HR and managers. This was announced by Yulia Ablets, Deputy General Director of ANO "Dialog Regions".
According to her, there are examples where a person is completely excluded from the decision-making process regarding a candidate. However, algorithms are not yet used as the main tool for searching for high-ranking executives.
No one would think of entrusting an algorithm with the targeted search for a high-ranking executive, because the decisive factors here are the future executive's personal conversation with the candidate, an assessment of value alignment, and a willingness to jointly experience the consequences of difficult decisions.
According to the expert, direct recommendations, personal acquaintances, and informal meetings still work in this matter. This is not only about work experience but also about understanding whether people can work effectively together.
