A heavily armed Russian 4++ generation fighter, the Su-35S, was photographed. The image was shared by the Telegram channel "Voenny Osvedomitel".
In the photo, the combat aircraft can be seen carrying one R-74 short-range air-to-air missile and one R-77-1 medium-range air-to-air missile.
Also on the hardpoints are two R-77M medium-range air-to-air missiles, one R-37M long-range air-to-air missile, and one Kh-31PM anti-radiation missile.
It should be noted that despite the formidable armament, this is not the maximum loadout for the Su-35S. It has a total of 12 hardpoints, meaning theoretically the aircraft could carry twice as many missiles. The maximum combat load of the fighter is 8000 kg.
Earlier, Western analysts estimated how many Su-35S are in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces.
