Kalashnikov Concern shipped a batch of 9M333 surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) under a state contract. The high-precision munition is designed for Strela-10 air defense missile systems.
The SAM's seeker head has three operating modes: photocontrast, infrared, and anti-jamming.
The average speed of the missile is 550 m/s, and it is capable of hitting targets at altitudes from 10 to 3500 meters. The munition operates on the "fire-and-forget" principle.
Kalashnikov has been producing the 9M333 SAM since 2020. The concern emphasized that the increase in the volume of the state defense order for 2026 indicates the missile's effectiveness.
