Invulnerable to EW, the "Molniya-2" UAV operated at 20 km: fortified positions destroyed without entering the engagement zone

The crew of the "Molniya-2" aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle from the unmanned systems troops delivered a precise strike on previously reconnoitered fortified positions. As reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence, the drone's flight range exceeded 20 kilometers, eliminating the need to enter the enemy's engagement radius.

The military department emphasized that the high autonomy of the device, jam-resistance of communication channels, and modern onboard equipment ensured the successful completion of the combat mission. As a result of the hit, all designated targets were completely destroyed.

In fact, "Molniya-2" confirmed its ability to deliver effective strikes from a distance unattainable for most enemy forward-based assets. This approach allows the operator to perform the task without the risk of being in the zone of return fire, which is especially relevant on the line of contact, where the density of engagement remains extremely high.
