PJSC Tupolev has initiated the liquidation of its subsidiary PSC Aviastroy. The corresponding notification has been published on the Fedresurs portal.
The division played an important role in the infrastructure of the Kazan Aviation Plant (KAZ), where the assembly and modernization of Tu-160M strategic missile carriers are underway.
Initially, Aviastroy was created on the basis of the motor transport workshop, but over time its functions expanded. In recent years, the company has actually acted as an energy operator, ensuring the operation of boiler houses and maintaining technological processes in production.
The reasons for the liquidation and the further scheme for providing the plant with energy have not been officially disclosed.
Tupolev is a manufacturer of Tu-160 strategic missile carriers "White Swan", a key enterprise of the strategic aviation division of the UAC. Recently, the company was headed by a new head without design experience.
