The company "RT-Tekhpriemka" (part of Rostec) has transferred 4 collaborative industrial robots to the aviation instrument-making plant "Tekhpribor" in St. Petersburg. The new equipment will automate laborious monotonous operations and reduce the production cycle of avionics. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
The robotic complex is equipped with special gripping devices that are developed for specific production operations.
The main thing in robotization is not just to install equipment, but to find a solution that fits perfectly into a specific production.
Currently, the "Tekhpribor" plant is working in four areas of automation: loading/unloading of turning machines with numerical control (CNC), performing non-separable connections during the assembly of fuel level sensors, soldering of electronic radio products (EREs), laying out wires before installation.
About the enterprise "Tekhpribor"
The plant was founded in 1942. It also produces equipment for fuel control and vibration control of gas turbine engines. "Tekhpribor" products are installed on aviation equipment that is assembled in Russia and the CIS countries.
For example, for the medium-range passenger aircraft Tu-204, St. Petersburg specialists developed a fuel management and indication system, for the MC-21 — complex management systems. "Tekhpribor" also develops separate components of onboard avionics for fighters Su-27, Su-30 and Su-35.
