The new "Fir" drone interceptor with artificial intelligence technologies has successfully proven itself in protecting airspace. It confidently intercepts both strike drones and reconnaissance UAVs operating at a much higher altitude.
The operator of "Fir" with the call sign Zima noted that the calculations were satisfied with the high efficiency of the new product.
We have already shot down strike UAVs, reconnaissance UAVs, FPVs. Everything that flies, it destroys everything.
In comparison with the expensive anti-aircraft missile, the "Fir" does not carry a warhead and strikes drones with a kinetic strike. The weight of the interceptor is 1.3 kg, the range of capture and destruction is up to 3 km.
The interceptor accelerates to 230 km/h, which makes it easy to catch up with strike drones. At the same time, electronic warfare equipment cannot jam the "Fir" - the control channel is simply absent.
