Russian folding FPV drone with smart container "Matryoshka" goes into mass production

The drone received thermal control for launch in the cold

Mass production of the folding quadcopter "Matryoshka" has started in Russia - a compact FPV drone in a tubular container with the function of maintaining and heating batteries. The launch of production was provided by the St. Petersburg company "Kravt" with the support of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies.

The novelty is made in a form factor with folding beams, which allows you to place the device in a sealed tube. The container not only protects the drone during transportation, but also automatically keeps the battery charge in the operating range, and at low temperatures - activates heating. Thanks to this, the operator can bring the drone into combat readiness in a matter of minutes, even in the field.

The developers have provided a universal connector on the "Matryoshka" case, which allows you to quickly change communication modules or connect a coil with optical fiber, depending on the task and radio environment.

For logistics, a solution is proposed in the form of packages of up to 29 tubes with a single power distribution system from an external source. This simplifies the storage, charging and delivery of kits to the front line.

The Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies noted that a similar modular development was recently presented by the American company Vector - the Hammer F1 drone. However, the Russian solution, according to TsBST experts, takes a step forward due to the integrated system of compact storage and intelligent thermal control of batteries.
