Ramzan Kadyrov has transferred three KamAZ flatbed trucks to the disposal of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Chechen Republic. The new equipment was purchased at the expense of the Regional Public Fund named after Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov.
The trucks are versatile and can be effectively used in performing various tasks — from delivering rescuers to the site of rescue operations to transporting equipment, inventory and other cargo. The new equipment is particularly relevant in eliminating the consequences of emergency situations.
KamAZ-5350 belongs to the "Mustang" family and has been produced since 2003. The truck has a 6×6 wheel arrangement and is equipped with an in-line 6-cylinder Cummins diesel engine with a capacity of 277 hp (or a KAMAZ 740.30-260 engine). The carrying capacity of the car is 7.3 tons, the total weight is 17 tons. The gearbox is mechanical, 9-speed. The car is capable of overcoming a climb of up to 31 degrees, a ford up to 1.75 meters deep and developing a speed of up to 100 km/h. The cab is three-seater, located above the engine, with a sleeping place.
