Uralenergoservice, a company from the Perm region, will begin producing asynchronous traction electric motors for Lastochka and Finist electric trains.
As part of an investment project worth 193.7 million rubles, the company will master the serial production of the DTI-330-6U1 engine with a capacity of 330 kW.
The new development will replace imported units from the German company Siemens Mobility in the Lastochka trains, and will also be installed on the Finist trains that are replacing them. Both platforms are produced by the Urals Locomotives plant, which is part of the Sinara - Transport Machines holding.
The production capacity of the line will be 48 engines per year. This is enough to fully cover the needs for traction machines for this niche of rolling stock and ensure technological sovereignty.
The borrowed funds will be used to purchase equipment, mainly Russian: vertical turning and turning machines, a machine for winding poles from copper busbar, a firing furnace, drying units and overhead cranes.
