The Uralvagonzavod concern completed 2025 by fulfilling a state order for the delivery of 30 multi-purpose two-section Vityaz all-terrain vehicles. The machines were created on the basis of the unified DT-30PM Vezdesushchiy chassis, which is also used in Arctic air defense systems, including the Pantsir-SA and Tor-M2DT.
The project is linked to infrastructure tasks within the development of northern territories and logistics for major energy projects, including the Power of Siberia area. The all-terrain vehicles are used to deliver cargo and equipment to hard-to-reach zones where roads are absent.
The equipment received expanded functionality. Earthmoving, welding, and lifting equipment allows it to be used not only for transportation, but also for initial construction and installation work. The vehicles are capable of transporting long loads up to 10 meters.
The key feature of the Vityaz is its two-section design. It reduces ground pressure and increases cross-country capability, which is critical for swampy and Arctic terrain. This solution also helps minimize environmental impact in northern regions.
According to the manufacturer, in 2025 more than 30 such vehicles were delivered to fuel and energy sector enterprises.
