Yandex Search has expanded its medical capabilities: now residents of 27 regions of Russia can find a doctor under the mandatory health insurance policy and immediately see available appointment slots.
The service allows you not only to choose a specialist, but also to compare them according to key parameters — experience, specialization, patient reviews, and clinic rating. The doctor's profile also displays the appointment schedule and available time slots for booking.
According to the company, in a number of regions, including Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir, users have access to the schedules of more than 60,000 doctors, with whom you can make an appointment online under the mandatory health insurance. To do this, simply enter the name of the polyclinic in the search, go to the "doctors" section and select a suitable specialist.
In addition to free medicine, the search also shows information about paid services. Users can find clinics, find out the cost of procedures, compare options and go to the appointment directly.
A separate "medicine" tab contains a database of more than 60,000 clinics and about 750,000 specialists throughout the country. At the same time, the system aggregates millions of reviews, which helps to navigate faster when choosing a doctor.
The new functionality is available both on the main search page and in the "Yandex — with Alice AI" application.
