The merged company Wildberries & Russ has acquired the transportation services "Citymobil", "Taxovichkof", "Gruzovichkof". All necessary legal parameters of the transaction have been agreed and have entered into force.
The deal fits into the strategy for the development of own transport logistics services.
The purchase will strengthen control over delivery and expand the transportation infrastructure within the marketplace ecosystem.
The joining of transportation aggregators will allow the company to optimize the process of creating its ride-tech service infrastructure and increase the speed of delivery of orders to users from more than 100 cities.
Industry participants told RBC that the listed assets were not developing and needed a strong partner, but competing with Yandex in the transport market will not be easy.
