The Chinese brand Changan has transferred two models to Russian assembly at once — the Changan CS35 Max and Changan CS75 Plus crossovers have received Vehicle Type Approval (OTTS). The document opens the way for mass sales of localized versions from April 1, 2026.
The production site is the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad. Localization allows the brand to reduce logistics and stabilize supplies against the background of import restrictions.
The CS35 Max was certified with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 147 hp and a "robot", front-wheel drive. The model is already sold on the market and belongs to the mass segment.
The CS75 Plus, a larger crossover with a length of 4770 mm, received several configurations at once — front-wheel drive with a 1.5 engine and all-wheel drive versions with a 2.0 engine with a capacity of up to 235 hp. Currently, the all-wheel drive version remains on sale.
