The Chinese auto company Jetour plans to change its trade name and sell cars under the name Votour in Russia. This was revealed by insiders. In the Unified Register of Internet Resources of Roskomnadzor, the distributor Jetour Motor Rus LLC registered the domains votour-motor.ru and votour-auto.ru
Insiders learned that Votour Motor Rus LLC was created in December 2024. It is registered at the same address as the Jetour office in Russia. The company's main activity is the sale of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, and the sole owner is a Chinese citizen, Ou Hao.
But that's not all. On February 27, a Votour Russia public appeared on the VKontakte social network. It announces the production and distribution of familiar passenger cars under a new brand, referring to the official Jetour website in Russia.
In addition to Votour, the company may also consider other names. Among them are Venxtor, Teres, Stelio and Reelm, for which domains have already been registered.
Previously a number of Chinese automakers in Russia have also changed their trademarks: Geely became Belgee and Knewstar, Changan introduced the Uni sub-brand, and Dongfeng is now known as Evolute.
