The crew of the large anti-submarine ship (ASW) "Admiral Panteleev" (Project 1155) conducted anti-submarine exercises in the Peter the Great Bay in the Sea of Japan, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported.

The sailors discovered a mock enemy's submarine near the territorial waters of Russia. The submarine tried to escape pursuit.

The crew of the "Admiral Panteleev" attacked a mock target with reactive depth charges, using the "RBU-6000" rocket launcher, and then made a mock torpedo salvo.

The diesel-electric submarine "Komsomolsk-on-Amur" (Project 877 "Paltus") of the Pacific Fleet was used as the enemy submarine. Its crew covertly overcame the anti-submarine line and practiced evading pursuit.
