The Russian kamikaze drone "Geran" has been equipped for the first time with a passive radar homing head (PRGGSN), which allows it to effectively detect radars, the Telegram channel "Informant" reported.
With a high degree of probability, PRGGSN with an air-blast warhead could have been received by versions of the Geran-2, Geran-3 or Harpy-A1 drones.
Since the drone in this variation has not been seen in its entirety, one can only guess about its design.
Also, "Geraniums" began to equip with PTM-3 mines, which are located in round containers under the wings. In total, one drone can carry up to 8 such mines.
According to preliminary estimates, in Russia, the monthly production of "Geran-2" drones has reached a stable level of 6500–7500 units.
