PJSC "Imperial Tula Arms Plant" has filed a lawsuit against JSC "Instrument Design Bureau named after Academician A.G. Shipunov." The amount of the claim is 23.4 million rubles, the information appeared in the file of the Arbitration Court of the Tula Region.
There are no details on the merits of the process, its consideration, like almost all similar cases, will probably take place behind closed doors.
It can be assumed that we are talking about a violation of contractual obligations under contracts concluded between enterprises, or about the recovery of penalties.
This is not the first lawsuit between the plants. Recently, PJSC "Imperial Tula Arms Plant" filed a lawsuit against JSC "KBP named after Shipunov" for almost 344 million rubles.
In the fall of 2025, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the recovery of 1.47 billion rubles from the designers, taking into account legal costs, the amount may increase. The key product of KBP Shipunova is the Pantsir series of anti-aircraft missile systems.
