T2 has changed the rules of the game: calls from abroad to Russian numbers are now deducted from the regular minute package — as if the subscriber never left.
The innovation already works in more than 50 countries and is automatically activated for popular tariffs. This means you can safely call Russia without fear of sudden charges for roaming.
But there is a nuance: in the case of calls to foreign numbers, everything remains according to the old rules — international tariffs have not disappeared.
The company says that they were able to negotiate with foreign partners and reassemble the calculations, which reduced the difference in cost. For the user, it looks simpler: less balance control and fewer surprises after the trip.
In essence, roaming has not been completely abolished — but for calls "home" it has become almost invisible.
