The newest BREM-80 tracked transporter produced by Omskmash has won a gold medal at the 29th International Salon of Inventions and Innovative Technologies "Archimedes-2026." The jury praised the novelty with a front-mounted drive wheel for its high cross-country ability on weak soils.
A separate special prize of the international exhibition was also awarded to the trademark "BREM-80."
The vehicle was created on the basis of the T-80 tank chassis and equipped with a powerful gas turbine engine, which guarantees high mobility. BREM-80 is capable of starting up quickly and starting to perform tasks in any conditions.
The main winch of the BREM-80 delivers a tractive effort of 35 tons-force. The cable extends at a speed of 50 meters per minute and is wound at two speeds — 17 meters per minute and 50 meters per minute (selected taking into account the mass of the evacuated equipment). The transporter has already set a record, pulling 6 T-80 tanks weighing 270 tons at a time.
