The Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) has completed the overhaul of the DRA-210B diesel unit. The work was carried out under a state order. The restored engine will be handed over to the Russian Navy.

DRA-210B is a complex technical system. Here are its key features:
- Design: 12 cylinders, V-shaped configuration, four-stroke operation.
- Supercharging: Two TK-18N model turbochargers.
- Cooling: Plate-type charge air cooler. Seawater from the external circuit is used for cooling.
- Power transmission: Built-in compact planetary gearbox. It reduces the output shaft speed to the required values.
The restoration of such units makes it possible to extend the service life of ships and maintain the fleet's combat readiness without purchasing new equipment.
