New Giant Dock in Murmansk to Expand Arctic Fleet Repairs

The Murmansk Ship Repair Plant continues to update its infrastructure and increase the volume of ship repair work. A new floating dock has appeared at the enterprise — the largest in the Northwestern Federal District. It will allow servicing larger vessels.

The head of the region, Andrey Chibis, held a meeting with the main shareholder of the S7 group of companies, Vladislav Filev, where they discussed the modernization of the enterprise and the prospects for the development of the site.

As a reminder, the modernization of the Murmansk Ship Repair Plant began after the arrival of a new investor. The enterprise serves vessels of the Northern Sea Route and the fishing fleet of the region.
