Venus will be the first planet that Russia will begin to explore as part of the study of deep space after the Moon. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
According to him, this direction is not accidental, it has historical roots. Back in 1970, domestic engineers successfully landed a spacecraft on Venus.
Therefore, first we will probably move in this direction. And then we'll see how successfully the assigned tasks are completed.
Manturov clarified that the implementation of such ambitious projects will require significant resources and non-standard engineering solutions. Russia needs talented young people who can take a fresh look at problems and offer fresh ideas.
