First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Manturov: Russia will begin to explore Venus

This will require non-standard engineering solutions for the country

Venus will be the first planet that Russia will begin to explore as part of the study of deep space after the Moon. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.

According to him, this direction is not accidental, it has historical roots. Back in 1970, domestic engineers successfully landed a spacecraft on Venus.

Therefore, first we will probably move in this direction. And then we'll see how successfully the assigned tasks are completed.
